Bear bath Solda
Source of inspiration for the bear-bath in Solda
“You cannot buy health. You have to go after it anew every day and work for a sustainable development by a healthy way of living.” (Sebastian Kneipp)
Kneipp’s teaching of health with its “kneippism”, the exercises, belongs to the scientifically approved naturopathic treatment. It impresses by its naturalness, its being holistic, it’s comprehensibility and is meant for a complete individual health-check: for a stabilization of your body’s defence forces and your cardiovascular system, to get rid of circulatory disorder, tiredness and poor concentration and to prevent the common cold. Reverend S. Kneipp’s health care system is based on five pillars that depend on and complement each other:
water, movement, medicinal herbs, nutrition and life structure.
We cordially welcome you to come to our forearms bath which was designed after and inspired by Kneipp’s teaching of health, to actively get to know every single station for your own well-being and to strengthen your body’s defence orders.
EvoPäd®-Parcours
Practicing the seven intelligences
Living in balance
„No matter which difficulties we have in life, there is always a lack of balance. But there are different kinds and ways of balance. In the course of our evolutive development we human beings have gone through different stages in development from „the creature laying in water“ up to the present „modern, erect human being“. And every stage in development has given birth to an own form of balance in this „erecting process“. Our long lasting experiences prove that every single problem, every challenge in our life needs its own form of balance.“
M.A.-Phil. Ludwig Koneberg
In the EVOPÄD®-Parcours seven stations were built alongside the Solda culture trail, at which your balance can be exercised in a quick, lax, playful and joyful way. No matter if you are young or old, student, craftsman, manager, this trail is feasable for everybody.
The Suspension bridge
To dare new paths with nature
When crossing the only 150 cm narrow rope bridge, you can find balance and experience thrill. This rope bridge combines steep track No 2, which leads you to the Refuge Hintergrat, with hiking trail No 1, which leads you to the Refuge Schaubach and Refuge Madrtisch. The crossing requires a little test of courage since the torrential masses of water and several people who cross the bridge can make the bridge swinging. (Fix your camera! – You need your hands to grab hold). Along trail No 2 the steep track leads you uphill over grinded glacier rocks – with partly comfortable stairs. You can have a 5-minutes side trip to your right hand side to a viewpoint on top of the side moraine from where you can have a nice overview of the entire border of the Solda-vally. The trail that leads to the Refuge Hintergrat crosses a mountainside with typical odorant flowers of the Alps.
Technical details:
