Ice-Climbing

During winter you can try out ice-climbing on the waterfalls of the “Legerwand”.

The mountain guides of the Alpine school Ortler offer ice-climbing courses. In no time you will get proficient with ice axe and crampons. Equipment can be rented from the Alpine school.
The “Legerwand” is situated next the ski run to the valley station of the cable car. The height of the wall amounts to 150m. Time required for the ten pitch tour is about three hours. The degree of difficulty is high. The orientation of this natural ice wall is north-northwest. There are no stands. The “star valuation” is: difficult.
